Heating

Heating systems convert energy to provide comfortable warmth in your home or office, or to support certain manufacturing/industrial processes.

Central heating systems

As part of the central heating design, we designate and prepare a (mechanical) room in your house or building where the heat will be generated by combustion of fossil fuels in a furnace or boiler (we provide you with the desired boiler characteristics).

Thereafter, we model the optimal heat distribution throughout either by air or steam fed through ducts/pipes, or by water circulating through pipes. Our designs include the ductwork/vents layout.

Local heating systems

Local heating systems, such as electric fan heaters, are a good idea when there is no need to heat the whole building. Local heating is modular, hence it is possible to move the heaters about between different rooms. Based on your needs, we determine the adequate number and configuration of the heaters.

Heating using renewable energy sources

Heating based on renewable energy sources uses solar, geothermal, wind, and hydroelectric power, or biomass/biofuels. Some of the possibilities in this area include:

Heating using fossil fuels and electrical energy

This type of heating uses fossil energy fuels, such as coal, fuel oil, natural gas, wood, or electrical resistance. Some the the most widely used systems of that type are:

Heat distribution

Heating systems differ not only in the energy source they use, but also the distribution of the generated (resultant) heat to the rooms/spaces.

Radiant heating

Interior layout/building structure permitting, we design underfloor, ceiling or wall radiant heating with the following advantages:

Convection heating

Convection heating is one of the most widespread distribution methods. The heat exchangers used to transfer thermal energy are radiators. Since most of the heat is transferred by convection, this kind of heating has the following disadvantages (when compared to the modern radiant heating):

It is not recommended if radiant heating design is possible.

Heat distribution for industrial applications

This kind of distribution uses industrial heat exchangers to transfer the heat into big open-area spaces, such as atriums, factories, etc.

Изкопаеми енергийни източници

В последните 5 години цената на изкопаемите енергийни източници бележи значителен ръст, като тенденцията се запазва. Освен това при тяхната употреба се отделят газове с вреден парников ефект.
