Energy audit
Energy audit

During an energy audit (site energy audit, detailed energy audit or complete site energy audit), we survey the annual energy expenditures (including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and power) in your building. Based on these findings, we give you a list of recommended measures for energy conservation and cost reduction.

Thermal properties of building materials

An energy audit includes inspection of the building walls, exterior boundary walls, and retaining walls, roofs, ceilings, floors, and window frames, insulation, as well as the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The energy audit is conducted in individual rooms or whole buildings.

Recommendations

Once we have determined the types of material that each wall is made of, we advise you about their adequacy and recommend you alternative materials/insulation and/or upgrades, as needed.

Different applications

It is recommended that the energy audit precede the energy source selection and the design/modernisation phase of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. In case you have initial design plans or even completed HVAC projects, we can perform only the energy audit.

Good to know the thermal properties of your building

The energy audit is an important part of the energy efficient planning. The audit is performed at a convenient for you time and, in most cases, without interrupting your work/activities.
